Department Goals and Objectives


GOAL of Student Teaching Department

      To provide opportunities for Student Teachers to adopt the models of the instruction learned from various aspects of the Industrial Education teaching program to actual situation.

OBJECTIVES of Student Teaching Department
      Provide student teachers opportunities to observe the teaching-related function.
      Develop appreciation and commitment to the teaching profession.
      Develop the student teachers to perform other teaching practices and apply the teaching theories and       principles.
      Expand institutional linkages.

GOAL of PIE Department
     
      Train would be teachers to be effective classroom managers and community leaders who are imbued with the ability, skills and habits in synthesizing knowledge, in rational decision-making and in practicing good human relationship.

Objective of PIE Department
      Develop students knowledge and skills to understand, reflect and apply the art and science of pedagogy.
      Enhance student’s decision-making skills.
      Enrich the courses of study in the different areas of concern.
      Improve the different program of activities of the department including that of instructional supervision.
      Increase the stock of instructional materials and equipment needed by the department.
      Enhance faculty competence through in-house capability building activities and attendance to advance studies.
      Develop student’s research consciousness in order that they can participate in the generation/verification of knowledge.
      Strengthen faculty competence in research, extension, and production.
      Explore alternative avenues for resource generation.
